WEC is back with a bang

Season 9 will see the all-new Hypercar class take over from the LMP1 prototypes and a revamped schedule of six rounds in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

The cornerstone of the World Endurance Championship, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, took place this year in August. The 2021 WEC competitors will race at such legendary and beloved circuits as Portimão, Spa-Francorchamps, Fuji and Bahrain.

The WEC continues to offer teams, drivers and partners a unique setting for competition on some of the world’s most beautiful racetracks.

Only the best endurance competitors who stay on top of the competition throughout the season will be crowned at the closing race in Bahrain. The drivers will have to show their talent throughout the season, from the shortest race (6 hours) to the longest (24 hours).

For several years, l’Orfèvrerie d’Anjou has been making in its workshops, many trophies offered to the winners of the WEC circuits. New designs are created for each new edition to create elegant pieces representing a sparkling victory. This article is illustrated by the trophies won in the 2021 race in Portimão.
